Glen Esk & it’s parent company GM Belt Supplies Ltd supply shops all over the world with a wide range of Scottish highland dress regalia, police belts, police ID wallets and also ceremonial and parade belts to both UK and overseas customers.

Our quality products are supplied by UK manufactures, including our highland dress kilt belts, Sgian dubh’s, buckles, sporran chains, kilt pins, and plaid brooches. By working closely with our UK manufactures it enables us to offer a unique range of bespoke products to all of our customers whether it is designing and manufacturing a cap badge, a Kilt pin, police ID wallet or even a bespoke range of belts with custom designed embosses. We are a one stop shop for all of our customers’ needs!

GM Belt Supplies began trading in 1992 supplying trouser belts, jeans belts and braces to independent menswear shops in the UK. By 1994 it was also supplying Co-Op stores and department stores throughout the UK with belts & braces. In 1995 GM Belt Supplies started to supply the highland wear shops in Scotland with Kilt belts and since then it has become one of the largest suppliers of highland dress in the world: attending exhibitions in both the UK and the USA. We are an instigator of new products and are continually extending our ranges not only the highland wear sector but also the police and military sector. Glen Esk is a market leader in highland dress.

A significant number of Glen Esk buckles are their own designs which are made by the traditional method of stamping. These buckles are made from solid brass here in the UK and it makes them special and unique to Glen Esk. We also have a range of our own designs of lead free pewter buckles and kilt pins.

With our experienced team it enables us to co-ordinate our range of matching belts and waist plates to include kilt pins & Sgian Dubh’s. This enables the highland wear shop to offer a unique co-ordinated range of products.

GM Belt Supplies were the first in the highland wear market to introduce new finishes to the traditional chrome waist plates. These finishes now include antique silver and polished brass finishes.
